DAF systems at IFAT 2020
The technology of dissolved air flotation systems or DAF systems (Dissolved Air Flotation), is a type of technology in which microbubbles are used to separate and remove residual matter that contains water by coagulation-flocculation process.
IFAT, a successful platform
IFAT began in 1966 in Munich as an international sewer technology fair.
Messe München, the organizers of the Munich fair, have been aware of the new challenges for existing waste treatment systems and raw material recycling processes, thus expanding the offer of services and sectors, and expanding the celebration of the event to China, India, Turkey and South Africa.
Today, IFAT covers all areas of application in modern and cutting-edge environmental technologies, from wastewater treatment plants to the use of waste shredders.
Companies and professionals from all over the world will meet in May 2020, for 4 days to present strategies, solutions, products, and innovations for the sustainable use of resources and technologies.
The importance of the event lies in the success of each of its calls regarding the participation and demand of the exhibiting companies.
For 2018, a total of 3,305 exhibitors from 58 countries gathered in 260,000 square meters of exhibition, with the participation of more than 140,000 visitors from 162 countries.
