DAF Systems

Manufacturing of high-performance dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems for wastewater treatment

Custom capacities ranging from 5 m³/h to 4,000 m³/h.

Designed to maximize water clarification, remove contaminants, and achieve high sludge dryness.

100% In-House Manufacturing

Available in a plug-and-play configuration

Available in corrosion-resistant materials

Complete range of DAF systems

Our various models of dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems cover a wide range of wastewater flow rates and pollutant loads. All of our DAF systems can be manufactured in a decentralized or plug-and-play configuration and using corrosion-resistant materials.

DAF FPAC

  • 5 – 200 m³/h
  • High levels of pollution
  • Stainless steel / Polypropylene

Low-profile units with a large free surface area, optimized for the accumulation and removal of scum (up to 4% more dry matter).

More info on DAF FPAC

DAF FPBC

  • 5–250 m³/h
  • Low pollutant loads
  • Stainless steel / Polypropylene

High-profile units featuring internal lamellar modules, designed to reduce hydraulic velocity while maintaining a compact footprint.

More info on DAF FPBC

DAF FPHF

  • 400–1,200 m³/h
  • All types of polluting cargo
  • Stainless steel / Carbon steel

It includes lamellar plates that deliver superior performance thanks to a combination of cross-flow and counter-flow.

MEGADAF

  • 1,000–4,000 m³/h
  • All types of polluting cargo
  • Built through civil engineering projects

They can be constructed without lamellae or with lamellae bundles, which reduces the footprint and volume of the flotation tank.

Our dissolved air flotation systems offer excellent performance in removing the following contaminants:

  • Suspended solids (SST).
  • Oils and fats.
  • Reduction of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD).
  • Algae and total carbon in seawater for desalination plants.
  • Other contaminants such as: nutrients, detergents, metals, etc.

Our complete catalog of DAF systems

The following video showcases our complete lineup of dissolved air flotation systems.

Here you can explore all of our models, designed to handle different capacities and contaminant loads, as well as our compact DAF systems and units manufactured from special materials to withstand harsh and highly corrosive environments.

All of our DAF equipment is designed and manufactured entirely in-house, down to the smallest detail.

Compact DAF systems: the plug-and-play solution

Prefabricated and tested DAF systems that are delivered mounted on a platform, reducing installation costs and cutting commissioning time from weeks to hours.

More info

FULLY INTEGRATED SYSTEM

UP TO 15 m³/h

The entire process is integrated onto a skid. It includes the DAF unit, the electrical panel, and the entire physical-chemical process. All connections and wiring are already in place. The equipment is delivered pre-tested to simplify its commissioning.

PROCESS SKID + DAF UNIT

MORE THAN 15 m³/h

When the DAF unit’s capacity exceeds 15 m³/h, the DAF unit is supplied separately from the skid that houses the electrical panel and the coagulation-flocculation process. Commissioning is just as simple and quick as with the other plug-and-play configurations.

SPECIAL FLOCULATION TANK

LONGER RETENTION TIME

When a longer retention time is required for the coagulation and flocculation process, conventional in-line flocculators are replaced with flocculation tanks, which are more efficient in these situations.

All our DAF models can be manufactured in a plug-and-play configuration, in which the DAF unit is delivered fully assembled and pre-tested, ensuring quick installation and a smooth start-up.

The system is supplied fully integrated, including the coagulation-flocculation process, the electrical panel, and the polymer dosing system, with all wiring and connections already in place.

Our compact DAF systems are ready to operate upon delivery, with no on-site assembly required, thereby reducing installation time and associated costs.

Corrosion-Resistant DAF Systems

POLYPROPYLENE

CORROSIVE WASTEWATER

DAF systems made of polypropylene are ideal for treating highly corrosive industrial wastewater, such as effluents with high acid or caustic content or specialized chemicals that could corrode conventional stainless steel.

DAF systems made of polypropylene are available in capacities of up to 250 m³/h. For higher flow rates, it is recommended that DAF equipment be manufactured from coated steel.

CARBON STEEL

SEAWATER DESALINATION PLANTS

Designed to ensure optimal performance in salty atmospheres, high-humidity environments, and demanding operating conditions, including extremely high levels of contaminants and aggressive chemical compositions.

The construction materials also include super duplex stainless steel and engineering plastics, as well as high-performance coating systems certified for marine environments.

DAF systems made of coated iron are also ideal for industrial effluents exceeding 250 m³/h.
